Summary: Excel has truly become the app that end users can live in while accessing and manipulating data to their heart’s content with minimal involvement from you, the IT data backend guru. But, as a data professional, can you use Excel as well as your end users do? This session will present a collection of useful Excel tips and techniques for day to day usage. Tips will range from simple to complex and cover Excel basics, named ranges, formulas, and advanced data filtering.

About Scott: Scott Pittman has over 30 years in IT, with extensive time consulting in Excel and Microsoft solutions. He has managed in the corporate sector and currently is doing independent consulting. Scott has deep experience in solution consulting, application design, development, and project management. Most recently he has worked with BI tools and created organizational capabilities around implementing BI solutions.
